As a luxury travel blogger from Belgium, my recent visit to Blue Shades Motel in Maryborough left me with mixed feelings. the location was decent, with a charming small town vibe that I enjoyed exploring. the sheer size of the room and the quality of the bathroom amenities truly impressed me, reflecting a high standard of accommodation. the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired, as I had to clean the coffee mugs before using them. the bed was uncomfortable, reminiscent of sleeping on springs, and the noise from other guests disrupted my restful night. On the positive side, the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the amenities like free Wi-Fi and USB charging sockets were convenient for a traveler like myself. the motel's restaurant had a promising menu, although sadly I didn't get to experience it fully. In terms of luxury versus value, Blue Shades Motel falls somewhere in the middle. the premium room size and bathroom quality hint at luxury, but the overall experience was dampened by cleanliness issues and comfort concerns. For travelers seeking a mixed bag of amenities at a reasonable cost, this motel might fit the bill.
